little update
Posted 6 years agoWell it has been a while since the last journal. I was successful in being reunited with checkers, now we are back like the old days. She is doing well and has grown since I last had her. She is likely getting up there in age, I would have to guess a few years give or take past ten. Nonetheless she is loved all the same, and she is still adventurous as ever to explore everything. I do still want to get a good photo with her sometime, unfortunately my camera has a colour roll at the moment. I'll either have to just take a colour shot, wait until I can put a different roll in, or just go with a digital shot If I want a photo. I don't have a proper dslr on hand so I probably won't bother with that for now.
reunited!
Posted 6 years agoWell it has been almost four years since I had to rehome my two snoot boopers, I had to go to college and couldn't take them with me. I was absolutely devastated with the loss in the months following this and have missed them terribly. Yesterday out of the blue I received a Facebook message from the owner of checkers (the one on the guitar neck in my photos) , he had tracked me down on Facebook to ask if I wanted her back as they were planning to have kids and didnt think they could offer her the proper attention. I was overwhelmed upon hearing this and hard pressed my landlord to let me keep her at my place. Eventually she agreed and now I have plans to pick up checkers on Friday this week. I cant express how great I feel knowing I'll have her back with me again. It has been a long time since I had the joy of reading books, playing bass, and just hanging out with the little ones. I'll be sure to post another photo of her when I get her back.
I never have heard from the owner of Cylus, i hope one day I will get to see him as well.
